Lesley Speed, aged 44 of Rushbury Road, Rushbury, Wall under Heywood, near Church Stretton, has been charged with the murder of Archie Spriggs.

She will appear at Telford Magistrates Court today.

Police were called to a property on Rushbury Road last Thursday evening.

Officers attended the address where the 7 year old child was found deceased.
