Witnesses sought to fatal collision near Hopwood

Officers are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision near Hopwood in North Worcestershire

Police were called shortly after 4pm on Saturday to the road traffic collision on the B4120. 

On arrival, a VW Golf Match TDI was found to be in collision with a tree. The occupant - a male in his 40s - was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Road closures were in place while emergency services attended.

Enquiries are continuing and police are keen to speak with anyone who saw the incident or saw the vehicle and the manner in which it was being driven prior to the collision.
