The 39-year-old breached his licence conditions following his release from prison in May and has been recalled to prison.
He had received a sentence of 1 years, 4 months in prison for actual bodily harm (ABH) at Cardiff Crown Court on 16 November 2021.
He has known links to the Monmouthshire and Torfaen area.
