Officers are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted on Edith Walk in Malvern last month.
On Tuesday 6 October, at around 8.15pm, a man saw a group of three teenagers causing a disturbance in the car park adjacent to the B&M store.
He was verbally abused by one of them, another approached him from behind and hit him on the head with a smashed bottle. The man, in his thirties, lost consciousness and was treated in hospital.
The man’s phone was also stolen during the attack.
The suspects were described as teenagers, two with dark hair, and one with fairer blond hair. The suspect with blond hair was wearing a grey Helly Hansen jacket with black trousers and black shoes.
One of the suspects with dark hair was wearing a black jacket and white trainers. The other suspect with dark hair, was walking with a crutch and wearing a light and dark blue Adidas hooded jacket, with black shorts and black shoes.
DC Margot Downward said: “This was a serious assault, and we have been carrying out a number of enquiries to identify those responsible.
“We believe the suspects purchased items from the B&M store prior to the incident, and we hope the descriptions will help jog the memories of those who may have been in the store or the car park area at the time.
“We would urge anyone who can assist with our investigation to please contact me via email margot.downward@westmercia.police.uk”
