This year, we are proud to host a meaningful and motivating International Women’s Day event centred on the theme “Standing Our Ground.” While International Women’s Day is a time for celebration, it is also a reminder of why the day still matters - and why feminism remains essential. Across the world, we have witnessed women’s rights being restricted, rolled back, or removed entirely. These realities make it more important than ever to come together, raise our voices, and defend the hard-won progress that women and girls rely on. Our event aims not only to celebrate the strength and achievements of women, but also to highlight the continued need to protect our rights and push forward rather than allow setbacks to take hold. The day will bring our community together for inspiring speakers, informative stalls, networking opportunities, and uplifting performances from the West Mercia Women’s Aid Choir. It is a space to connect, reflect, stand in solidarity, and reaffirm our commitment to equity.
Join us at 11:00am on 7th March 2026 at the Kindle Centre in Hereford as we stand our ground, celebrate women, and champion the future we all deserve.
