Police were called to a concern for the safety of man in Kidderminster earlier.
The incident happened at just after 11:45am.
Inspector Lewis Lincoln-Gordon said: “Officers spent some time talking to the man who was clearly in distress.
“St John’s Avenue was closed for some time as we responded to this incident and we would like to thank the local community for their patience and understanding.
“The incident has now safely concluded (as of 4.30pm) and we are in the process of re-opening the road. The man is receiving the necessary support that he needs.”
