Photos of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor crouching over a woman were taken in Jeffrey Epstein's New York City mansion, while an image of Peter Mandelson in his underwear was taken in the paedophile financier's Paris flat, a Sky News analysis has found.

Our Data and Forensics unit matched elements shown in the photos to details in images and videos to determine where they were taken.

The photos of the former Duke of York in the Epstein files show him on all fours, bent over a young woman or girl.

The photos are undated, and there is no suggestion of any wrongdoing.

The image below shows a fuller picture of the room, with distinctive white panelling visible in the background.

The same white panelling is visible in the photo below, showing Epstein having drinks with Woody Allen and an unidentified woman.

The design of the door in the photo above matches that seen in another photo of Andrew in the room.

We used the view out into the corridor to identify the exact location of the room within Epstein's New York mansion.

The curved leg of a golden table, chequered flooring, and door design match those seen in photographs taken from the corridor adjoining Epstein's main stairwell. The room's distinctive white panelling is also visible in the far distance.

In a statement issued on 17 October 2025, Andrew reiterated he "vigorously" denies the accusations against him.

Sky News also confirmed the photo of Lord Mandelson in his underwear was taken in Epstein's Paris flat.

A spokesperson for Lord Mandelson previously told Sky News: "No one can say who or where the photo was taken.

"Lord Mandelson has absolutely no idea or indeed whether it has any connection to Epstein at all."

Sky News' Data and Forensics unit was able to match the metal balcony railing visible in the window to that found in front of windows at Epstein's Paris home.

We were also able to match the photo to the same room in which a video, also included in the Epstein files, was taken. The video shows two young women or girls dancing.

In a still from the video, shown above, we can see a lamp and curtains matching those in the photo of Lord Mandelson, as well as the distinctive red panelling on the wall.

Another photo taken in the same room shows a piece of paper on the desk with Jeffrey E Epstein printed at the bottom.
