A review of Powys recycling centre charges and the booking system will go ahead in October.
The scheme, introduced in April, sparked backlash and a petition signed by over 4,200 residents.
Councillors voted in favour of the review following concerns about fly-tipping and access issues.
The council says the review will be based on data now available from the system.
