Afternoon tea was being served up in great quantity at Labels Shopping Ross-on-Wye on Monday to celebrate the very special anniversary of one of their colleagues, Chrissie Ellis, who has worked for the store for 25 years.
Chrissie, who lives in Ross-on-Wye, joined Labels in August 1992, just a year after it opened in 1991 and recalls working in every department over the time.
“I’ve loved every minute of working here at Labels.” Said Chrissie. “It really is the people that you work with that make all the difference to enjoying your job.”
Chrissie’s creative skills are being to put to great use in her latest position, designing and making props for events such as the store’s Christmas grotto, a role that she describes as her dream job.
Colleagues and friends put on the party for Chrissie in celebration of her achievement with colleagues from the past and present joining her for a slice of cake and a natter!
Labels Shopping provides employment for over 120 local people, and is located just off junction 4 of the M50 near Ross-on-Wye.
