A woman has been remanded in custody to appear at court tomorrow morning charged with the attempted murder of a newborn baby girl.
The 31-year-old woman from Oswestry, Shropshire will appear at Telford Magistrates' Court.
The baby was discovered with serious injuries in the Meole Brace area of Shrewsbury on 22 April 2016.
The child remains in the care of the local authority.
