Police investigating a report of an assault in Hereford have issued an appeal for information.
A woman in her 50s is believed to have been assaulted in the area of Sherborne Close between 00:30am and 4am on Saturday.
Detective Sergeant Catherine Taylor, from Hereford CID, said: "We are trying to establish how the victim has sustained injuries and are looking to speak to anyone who may have seen her or anyone acting suspiciously in the area."
She continued: "We are keen to speak with a man described as around 5ft 10, of a slim build with dark hair and wearing dark clothing who may have been walking in the area at the time and could hold valuable information that could help us with our enquiry."
Anyone with information that could help with our enquiries is urged to call 101 quoting incident 112 of 10 August 2019. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
