Detectives in Leominster are appealing for witnesses following a suspicious incident at a residential property in Green Lane.
It is reported to have happened sometime between 9pm on Monday 19 June and 9.45am on Tuesday 20 June, when unknown offender or offenders are believed to have entered the property through an insecure entrance.
Nothing was taken and nobody was injured during the incident, but a gas supply is thought to have been interfered with.
Detective Sergeant Sarah Bennett of West Mercia Police said: "We are keen to speak to anyone who may have seen or heard any suspicious activity in the area between the times stated above.
"We would also like to remind people to check their windows and doors before leaving their property or going to bed, ensuring they are locked and secure wherever possible."
