Visiting restrictions for Ross Community Hospital wards have been lifted today following the reopening of Peregrin and Merlin wards.
The restrictions had been put in place following cases of seasonal flu.
It still remains very important that any visitors with flu or flu symptoms do not visit the hospital until they have been free of symptoms for 24 hours. Visitors are requested to practice good hand hygiene and use the alcohol gels available in all wards/departments.
Wye Valley NHS Trust wishes to thank all patients and visitors for their understanding during this period and to emphasise that these restrictions were put in place to protect patients and visitors from exposure to the flu virus.
