County planners have gone against professional advice and rejected proposals to build a home in a village near Hereford.
Herefordshire Council’s planning officers had recommended approving the scheme which included a garage and construction of a new vehicle access Twyford Brook Barn in Twyford.
But the planning committee voted to reject the proposals after hearing concerns from local residents and the parish council.
