Residents from six wards across Hereford will be asked for their views on proposals to implement permit parking and waiting restrictions in their locality.
The consultation will last for 21 days and end on 19 October.
As part of the Hereford City Centre Improvement project selected streets were surveyed to find out if residents would support the scheme.
The proposals for residents' parking have been drafted in response to feedback from the survey.
A number of other roads were identified by communities for permit parking restrictions which are now included in this formal consultation.
More information about the scheme can be found at www.herefordshire.gov.uk/residentsparkingconsultation
