Police say two men have been stabbed during an incident in Gloucester.
It happened on Clarence Street in the early hours of this morning.
Two 19-year-old men suffered wounds in a suspected stabbing shortly before 2.25am and two people were subsequently arrested.
One of the men suffered serious injuries and was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment. He remains there today.
The second man suffered an injury to his hand and was also taken to hospital.
A 29-year-old man and 19-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody this morning for questioning.
Police have confirmed they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the incident at this time.
A cordon remains in place.
