Parents and midwives welcomed the arrival of two babies born at Hereford County Hospital on New Year’s Day, 1 January 2020.
Abbi Maddox, midwife for community and antenatal services at Wye Valley NHS Trust, said: “We’re delighted to mark the start of the New Year with the arrival of two babies born in our delivery suites at Hereford County Hospital.
“Parents and midwives celebrated the birth of the first baby girl born at 7.17am, followed by the arrival of the second baby girl born on this special day.
“When the babies and mums are ready to go home they will continue to receive support and advice from our community midwives, followed by support from our health visiting teams, on breastfeeding, nappy changing, bathing your baby, through to personalised care”.
