A North Herefordshire school has paid tribute following the death of its headteacher.
Lucton School confirmed headteacher David Bicker-Caarten had passed away.
In statement, the school said: "The entire school community is coming to terms with the death of our popular and hugely respected Headmaster. We will all miss him dearly and our hearts and thoughts are with his family."
"David loved Lucton, and was immensely proud of all students and staff. During his time as Headmaster, he founded a refined ethos of kindness, honesty and hard-work."
