The family of a man who was found dead in Hereford have paid tribute to a much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend.
On Saturday (18 January) officers attended an address on Brierley Court in Hereford and sadly 54-year-old Jamie Gawler was pronounced deceased at the scene.
In a statement his family said: "Jamie was a true gentleman and a very much-loved son, brother, uncle and friend. The family are devastated by his passing and will remember him as the kind, generous and funny man he was.”
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
