Three cyclists have been taken to hospital after a serious road traffic collision in Llanllowell, Monmouthshire.
At approximately 16.08pm this afternoon, Gwent Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and three cyclists.
Three of the cyclists have sustained serious injuries and have been taken to the University Hospital of Wales and Nevill Hall Hospital.
The driver involved in the collision made off from the scene and officers, along with the Police Helicopter are currently trying to locate the male who they believe, after driving a short distance, made off on foot.
Police would like to hear from anyone who has any information relating to the incident, anyone who may have witnessed the collision or even if you were a motorist driving in the area at the time using a dash cam device.
