A Land Rover stolen near Church Stretton has been found and returned after it became "too hot to handle".
The modified Land Rover Defender was taken from Hatton on Sunday night.
Police have confirmed the vehicle has since been found following an appeal.
Graham Donaldson from West Mercia Police said: "I am very pleased to report that this vehicle was found and returned to the very grateful owner. It would appear the power of social media made the vehicle 'too hot to handle'.
"Many thanks to those who shared the original post."
