St Michael's Hospice is Launching 40 Hour Fundraising Campaign - ‘Caring for the Future’ to Safeguard Specialist Palliative Care Services
This weekend, St Michael’s Hospice will launch one of its most ambitious fundraising campaigns to date. The charity is marking 40 years of providing palliative care and support across Herefordshire and beyond by attempting to raise £400,000 in just 40 hours.
‘Caring for the Future’ begins this Sunday (27th) at 7am, with St Michael’s asking supporters to help raise the crucial funds to support ongoing training and the development of staff who provide this renowned care.
With a target of £400,000, the funds raised will ensure that St Michael’s Hospice staff receive the essential training needed to continue delivering the highest standards of care for those facing life-limiting illnesses.
“We want to make sure that our team has the skills, knowledge, and resources to provide the very best care for our patients and their families,” said Rachel Jones, Income Generation, Marketing & Communications Director at St Michael’s.
The campaign will take place on the Charity Extra platform. More information about the campaign can be found here - https://www.st-michaels-hospice.org.uk/caring-for-the-future/
