A man charged with 11 offences relating to child sexual assaults, including rape, has appeared at court.
Neil Waters, of Pulverbatch in Shrewsbury appeared at Telford Magistrates Court yesterday (Monday 21 July) charged with the following offences:
- Five counts of sexual assault of a child under 13
- Two counts of assault by penetration of a child under 13
- Two counts of raping a child under 13
- Causing a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity
- Attempt to cause a child under 13 to engage in sexual activity
The 55-year-old entered no plea during the hearing and is due to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Monday 18 August.
