A man has appeared before magistrates today (Friday 10 January) charged with a number of drugs offences.
Edmund Welsby, of St George's Street in Shrewsbury, was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, concerned in the supply of class A drugs and two counts of possessing criminal property.
The 28-year-old was charged following an incident in Frankwell in Shrewsbury yesterday (Thursday 9 January).
Welsby appeared before Kidderminster Magistrates Court today where he was remanded in custody. He is due to appear at Shrewsbury Crown Court on Friday 7 February.
