Police in Hereford are looking for 58-year-old Phillip Allen from Ross-on-Wye who is wanted on warrant for failing to appear at court for sentencing.
Phillip Allen is an actively managed registered sex offender having been convicted at Hereford Magistrates Court on 12 April 2023 of an offence of attempting to engage in sexual activity with a child.
Allen was due to be sentenced on 9 June at Worcester Crown Court but failed to attend.
A bench warrant has been issued which is not backed for bail.
Allen has connections with the Cumbria area and believed to of been in the Carlisle area within the last few days.
Anyone who sees Allen or knows where he may be is asked to call 999 immediately.
