Work to resurface the former hard courts area at Bailey Park in Abergavenny is underway.
The courts were unusable after falling into disrepair.
Abergavenny Town Council has paid for the courts to be resurfaced with work being completed on Friday.
They say a final decision has not been made on the courts to be marked out on the new surface.
