Police have arrested a prisoner who absconded from HMP Prescoed in Usk.
31-year-old Steven Rich who has absconded from Prescoed Prison in Usk on 1st November has been arrested last Thursday and is currently in police custody in Coventry.
Gwent Police took immediate action after being notified that the individual had absconded. The operational plan was activated with the aim of located the individual.
He has been charged and remanded with absconding from prison.
