Police in Hereford are warning people about a phone scam.
Officers have received numerous reports from members of the public, receiving phone calls from unknown persons claiming to be the police or connected to the police.
The force are being asked to confirm their address's and told that someone from the crime prevention team is going to attend the property to fit alarm systems and provide personal attack alarms.
A spokesperson said: "We would like warn people to not give out any personal information over the phone, and report any potential scam phone calls to Action Fraud".
