Police are trying to identify and locate a woman wearing only a nightdress who was seen walking along Berrington Road just outside Tenbury Wells earlier this morning.
The report was made to police by a member of the public at 6.56am. Another sighting of her heading towards Tenbury Wells was made at 7.10am.
The woman is described as being white, in her 70s and around 5 foot 5 inches tall. She was described as being disorientated.
Police have carried out extensive enquiries to identify and locate the woman, including visiting local care homes and using the police helicopter. They are now appealing to the public for help.
Inspector Darren Godsall said: "It was a very cold morning so we're extremely concerned for the welfare of this woman. If this was you or you think you might know who it was please call us as a matter of urgency."
