Police issue warning after child approached by unknown man in Hereford

Police have issued a warning after a child was approached in Hereford.

Police received reports of an incident involving a child being approached by an unknown man outside a chip shop in College Green shortly before 8pm on Wednesday.

Officers are investigating and people may have seen an increased police presence in the area.

The force said the child was unharmed during the incident.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at that time is asked to call 101 quoting incident 537i  of 8 December, 2021.
