Police appeal after assault in Shrewsbury

Police in Shrewsbury are appealing for witnesses following an assault outside The Vaults Public House in Castle Gates.

It happened at around 11pm on Tuesday 29 June.

A 27 year-old man was physically assaulted and sustained a number of injuries he attended The Royal Shrewsbury hospital for treatment.

25 year old Quade Jay from Shrewsbury has since been charged with ABH and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
