Developers have submitted new plans to build five homes in village near Bromyard.
Mr James wants to build on land next to Moorend, Wychend Road in Much Cowarne.
His plans are for three four-bed houses and two two-bed dormer bungalows.
The site already has permission for four homes to built there and these new proposals would extend the development by one house to the east.
Residents have until October 9 to have their say on the proposals.
Herefordshire Council is expected to consider the plans by October 19.
