Hereford could soon have a new tattoo studio in a distinctive building if a bid is approved.
An application by George Masters of Skinzophrenic Tattoos seeks permission to turn the currently empty premises at 8 Wye Street into a tattoo studio operating from 10am to 5pm six days a week.
The unlisted building, south of the city’s Old Bridge, is also known as the Dorset Ale Storehouse. Inside it has open beams and a mezzanine floor reached by a spiral staircase.
A previous Skinzophrenic studio in the city’s Aubrey Street closed last March.
The company said on its Facebook page that it plans to open in Wye Street next month.
Comments on its planning application, numbered 224078, can be made until February 23.
