A major £1.5 million upgrade to Usk substation is set to boost electricity reliability across Monmouthshire.
The work by National Grid Electricity Distribution includes new transformers and control systems, making the site quieter and easier to manage.
Local leaders say the investment will support homes, businesses and long-term economic growth in and around Usk.
