A new website has been launched in Herefordshire and Worcestershire to help people access treatment, information and support for their mental health and wellbeing.
The Healthy Minds website – www.healthyminds.whct.nhs.uk - provides help and support for people experiencing more common mental health difficulties, such as stress, worry and anxiety. It brings together the Worcestershire Healthy Minds team and the Herefordshire Healthy Minds team. The Herefordshire Healthy Minds services was previously called Let's Talk.
Both teams provide a range of support, including group and 1:1 therapy, as well as online courses and self-help resources. You can self-refer to the services yourself via an online form which is available on the new Healthy Minds website, or by phone via the below numbers:
· Herefordshire Healthy Minds: 01432 347606
· Worcestershire Healthy Minds: 0300 302 13 13
Phill Morgan-Henshaw, Operational Manager for Herefordshire and Worcestershire Healthy Minds, said: "It is great that the local Healthy Minds services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire are now aligned and that we have an online resource where people can easily and quickly get the help and information they need to support their mental health. There are further plans to integrate both Healthy Minds teams while continuing to provide local support to meet local need.
"Many people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire may be experiencing some form of stress, anxiety, worry or depression at the moment and we want to get the message out there that it is ok not to feel ok sometimes, and that help and support is available from your local NHS teams."
In April Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust took over responsibility for mental health services in Herefordshire. The Trust also runs the Now We're Talking campaign which will help raise awareness of the local services and the resources available to people across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
