Food lovers are being invited to the inaugural Wye Valley Food Festival which is taking place at Chepstow Racecourse this weekend.
The free-entry event will be held at the prestigious Monmouthshire venue over two days.
As well as culinary delights, visitors will be invited to browse craft and gift stalls, enjoy live music on the lawn, children's activities, a fun fair and live cookery demonstrations.
The festival is the ambition of four friends with a passion for food and a desire to showcase the wonderful home-grown food, crafts and gifts that we are lucky to have on our doorstep.
Their aim is to provide a diverse range of culinary shopping treats, masterclasses and entertainment in the beautiful Wye Valley.
"Chepstow Racecourse is a perfect venue for our first event, giving us the scope and the space for our imaginations to run wild, and create a great day out for the family," a food festival spokeswoman said.
"Our aim is to bring people together to explore food and drink and have a great day out at our foodie feast in Monmouthshire".
"It will offer a weekend of fun for all the family with live music, giving local musicians the opportunity to showcase their talent, fair rides, face-painting, and a children's activity corner."
The Wye Valley Food Festival takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September.
Sunshine Radio's Shaun Moore will be broadcasting from the food festival between 2pm and 6pm on Saturday.
105.9FM, 106.2FM, 107FM, 107.8FM, 855AM, DAB and Smart Speakers.
