A man has died in hospital after he suffered stab wounds in an incident in Hereford.
A murder investigation is now underway after the man in his 30s died this evening following the incident on Commercial Street, Hereford, at around 12.05pm today. His next of kin is aware.
Superintendent Sue Thomas, local policing lead for Herefordshire, said: "These are tragic circumstances and my thoughts are with the family and friends of the man at this time. I would strongly urge anyone with information to contact police.
"A cordon remains in place around where the incident happened and there will be a heavy police presence in the area."
Two men arrested on suspicion of attempted murder shortly after the incident remain in police custody. A man and a woman arrested on suspicion of attempting to pervert the course of justice also remain in police custody.
