Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS) was called at approximately 11:45am this morning to an agricultural building fire in Brimfield.
Five fire engines (from Leominster, Tenbury, Bromyard, Leintwardine and Ross-on-Wye) and two water carriers arrived on scene and were met with a developing fire that involved an agricultural building with livestock, vehicles and a large quantity of hay.
Firefighters have successfully led all livestock to a safe location and are currently tackling the fire.
There is currently a large plume of smoke heading in a westerly direction. Residents in the Brimfield, Orleton, Wyson, Bircher and Comberton areas are advised to keep windows and doors closed until further notice.
