Hereford’s Poppy Appeal has already raised £100,000 this year — with two months still to go before Remembrance Day.
Organisers say the campaign has grown strongly in recent years, boosted in 2024 by the support of younger volunteers.
Around 50 young people have helped with events, compared with just five last year, alongside groups like the Cadets, Guides and Scouts.
