A 22-year-old Monmouthshire man has been sentenced to more than four years in prison after pleading guilty to robbery offences in court.
Brandon Davies, 22, of Rogiet, was jailed after appearing at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday 18 November, 2022.
He pleaded guilty to two counts of robbery and was sentenced to four years and six months in prison.
The offences took place at the Texaco garage on Caldicot Road in September and October in 2019.
DC Kate Lewis, officer in the case, said: "This was a distressing incident for the victim, and we hope the verdict provides some closure for them.
"Davies' prison sentence should serve as a reminder that we will relentlessly pursue those who display this type of behaviour and put them before the court."
