Police are seeking information about a serious assault that took place last month in Hereford.
The incident happened in the late evening of Sunday 23 December in Ledbury Road.
The male victim was assaulted shortly after 11pm near the Rose and Crown public house. An altercation took place between three males walking down Ledbury Road, and the single male.
As a result of this the male was seriously assaulted by one of the males, suffering head injuries which were initially deemed to be life threatening.
The three males then ran off in the direction of Hereford City Centre.
The suspect is believed to have been white and wearing grey jogging bottoms and carrying a man bag. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
