A man killed in a collision on the A46 at Beckton has been named by police as Graham Edmunds from Gloucestershire.
Police were called at 6.45am on Tuesday to a collision on the A46 Cheltenham Road near Beckford, between a silver Vauxhall Vectra and a pedestrian who was tending to his DAF flatbed lorry.
It's believed the Vectra had been travelling in the direction of Evesham.
Sadly the pedestrian, 56-year-old Graham Edmunds from Gloucestershire, died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
Road closures were in place whilst emergency services were in attendance.
Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or the manner in which the Vauxhall Vectra was being driven prior to the collision. If you have any information, please call West Mercia Police on 101.
