48-year-old Ian Palamountain from Huskinson Drive, Hereford has today been found not guilty of the murder of Terri Louise Webb from Hereford, following a trial at Worcester Crown Court.
Terri, who was 39 at the time of her death went missing in Hereford in November 2016 and her body was recovered from the river Wye on the 27 December 2016.
Following an extensive investigation into the disappearance of Terri, police charged Ian Palamountain on Thursday 3 May 2018, with her murder.
Following a Plea and Case Management Hearing, the case went to a trial, which concluded today.
DCI Carl Moore said: "Following the verdict, our thoughts are with Terri's family today and we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to them."
29-year-old Louise Emery from Mayberry Avenue, Hereford had previously pleaded guilty to assisting an offender, and will be sentenced at a later date.
