A man has been charged with assaulting a highway worker in North Herefordshire.
The incident happened in Leominster earlier in the year.
Investigating officers said the incident involved a male purposefully entering a barrier where workmen were going about their rightful duties. Rather than report or complain to the appropriate agency in regards to the broadband supplier, he took it upon himself to try disrupt the work from being completed which resulted in a member of the workforce being assaulted.
Following an investigation, police said the male was charged with assault and today pleaded guilty in court.
He will be sentenced at a later date.
