Police in Hereford are appealing for witnesses following an assault in Eign Gate.
The incident is reported to have happened between 5.30pm and 6pm on Sunday 20 September when a man was walking towards the subway passage and was approached by a man who spoke to him briefly and then punched him.
Police Constable Dan Barker said: “We are carrying out enquiries and are appealing for any witnesses to contact us.”
The suspect is described as around 6ft tall, slim, with long, dark hair and was wearing a grey jumper, blue jeans and black shoes.
