A murder investigation has been launched after the body of a woman was found at a property in North Herefordshire.
Police received a report of a collision whereby a car crashed into a lamppost on Eye Lane near Luston this morning.
Officers responded and, following enquiries, attended an address in Moreton Eye.
The body of a 78-year-old woman was found dead at the property.
The death is being investigated as a murder and a 48-year-old man has been arrested and remains in custody.
A scene guard remains in place.
