A man has been arrested after a serious assault in Hereford city centre.
Police were called to Commercial Street around half past eleven on Saturday night, after reports of a fight involving two men.
A man his 40s suffered a serious head injury after being punched and hitting the ground, and was taken to hospital.
The suspect, in his 30s remains in custody.
