A man has been arrested in connection with a dog theft in Malvern last week.
The man, who is in his 30s, was arrested on Sunday 6 March on suspicion of theft after a one-year-old French Bulldog was stolen on Elgar Avenue on Thursday 3 March at around 12.20pm.
He has since been released on police bail as investigations into the incident continue.
Following extensive searches officers were able to locate the dog on Friday 4 March in a hedge at Strensham Services in Worcester and later reunited the animal with its owner.
The dog was checked over before it was reunited with its owner, and was found to be well and unharmed.
