A man has been airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after an 'incident' in South Shropshire.
Emergency services including the air ambulance were called to a field near Overton Road near Ludlow earlier today.
West Mercia Police confirmed they had received a report "concerned for the safety of a person in woodland".
West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "On arrival, crews found a man who was assessed and had sustained serious injuries."
"He received treatment on scene and was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital via air ambulance for further treatment."
