Ludlow's Mayor is encouraging local people across the town to help raise funds for a local charity next month.
Councillor Robin Pote will launch his Mayor's Charity Miles week in September.
He is challenging local people to run, walk, swim or cycle to help raise funds for his Charity for 2021-22 Ludlow Young Health – in the week Saturday 18th September to Friday 24th September 2021.
The Mayor has confirmed he will be cycling 50 miles during the charity week.
Ludlow Young Health is part of Hands Together Ludlow. Funding raised will help young people aged 10-25. Ludlow Young Health is a mental health drop-in service for young people, their families and health professionals. The goal is to address loneliness, isolation, concerns about school, college or university work, and the breakdown in routine that the pandemic has created.
